Sushi Daimon

Sushi Daimon is a famous, one Michelin star restaurant in Toyama Prefecture where you can have an authentic high-end sushi experience. The setting is quite intimate with only seven counter seats from which you can see the chef in action from up close.
The sushi toppings used are mostly fresh catches from the Sea of Japan, in and around Toyama Bay, so what you will get will change by the season.
An 'omakase' (leave it to the chef) course at Sushi Daimon typically consists of not just sushi, but also several exquisite side dishes like 'chawan mushi' (Japanese savoury custard), tempura, miso soup and soft roe.

If you have dietary restrictions or personal preferences, the chef will adapt the omakase course for you.
The chef tends to use a generous amount of sashimi on a relatively small amount of rice, so you get to enjoy the fresh taste of Toyama's delectable seafood to the fullest.

Sushi Daimon is a flagship restaurant for sushi in Toyama. If you're looking for an amazing dining experience in that area, it's definitely a place to consider.
